Watch Out Bangor! Here Comes MDI!

The MDI Girls return to the Bangor Auditorium to play Saturday, February 16th at 10:35 in the morning as they defeated Caribou Tuesday, February 12th in the prelim game played at Bernard Paradis Gymnasium by the score of 61-43. They will take on Winslow, the 13th seed who upset Gardiner the 4th seed 43-34.

MDI went out to an early lead and never looked back leading 21-10 after the 1st Quarter. MDI outscored Caribou 13-8 in the 2nd Quarter and led at the half 34-18. It was 46-24 after the 3rd Quarter and the final was 61-43.

MDI was led by Hannah Shaw with 30 points and Caribou was led by Delaney Williams with 16 points. MDI shot 17-24 from the free throw line while Caribou was 4-4 from the charity stripe. MDI's record improves to 17-2 on the season while Caribou finishes the season 4-15. This was the last home game played by the MDI Seniors, Emily Lewis, Abby Jewett and Bailey Burr.

The MDI - Winslow game Saturday at 10:35 may be heard on WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio with the pregame starting at approximately 10:15.
