Restoration Details:The blizzard that has crippled much of the northeast is now affecting customers of Bangor Hydro Electric Company. Early this morning increased winds began bringing down power lines and tree limbs. Coastal areas are expected to see the most damage during the storm today. Crews were prepared for the storm and have been working to restore power since early this morning.

Customers are reminded to avoid coming in contact with power lines and trees touching them. Generators and alternate heat sources should be used in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.
