The Boston Red Sox were cruising, up 5-0 before imploding in the 6th and 7th innings, as the Baltimore Orioles rallied to beat the Red Sox 7-5 on Wednesday night, April 10th at Fenway Park.

Kutter Crawford, pitching a day early because of the injury to Nick Pivetta threw 5.0 innings, and allowed just 2 hits. He struck out 6 and walked 4. He stranded the bases-loaded in both the 4th and 5th innings.

The Red Sox own the lowest starting pitcher ERA (1.42) which is their lowest through 12 games since 1920! Red Sox starters have allowed just 13 runs, 10 earned, in 63.1 innings, striking out 71 and walking 18 in 12 games.

In the 5th and 6th innings, Tyler O'Neill made an error, Connor Wong was called for catcher's interference and had a passed ball.

Triston Casas hit a 2-run home run in the 5th inning, and ended the night 2-4.The homer was his 2nd of the season.

Connor Wong was 1-3 with a 2-4un single in the 4th inning.

Jarren Duran was 2-5

Tyler O'Neill was 1-3 with a RBI single in the 3rd inning. He has reached base in all 11 games he's played as a member of the Red Sox.

Chris Martin who had allowed multiple runs just once in his 1st 60 games pitching for Boston allowed 4 runs on 2 hits, including the game-winning home run to Jordan Westburg.

The Orioles are now 7-4 while Boston is 7-5. The two teams will play the final game of the 3 game series on Thursday night, April 11th with the pregame set for 6:10 and 1st pitch at 7:10 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.
